**BREAKING NEWS**
Green Bay (AP) The Post Pattern is happy to share with our readers that our picking family has grown by one today. On the anniversary of our founder Almond Buboltz's passing, Theodore Almond Buboltz was born to parents Emalie and A. Bryce. Checking in at solid 9 pounds 2 ounces and with loads of charm, Theodore is welcomed warmly by the whole Buboltz clan. Family matriarch Helen commented "He's just a very handsome big boy...I knew the baby would be born today". Sounds like we have a future linebacker in the group.
Congratulations to Emalie and Bryce from The Post Pattern!
Stay tuned for more on this developing story...
Thanksgiving Edition
Thanksgiving. Just the word conjures up images near and dear to our hearts. Backyard football games at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey, Grandma's beef tips, pumpkin pie, and more. Watching the Lions find another way to lose a game. John Madden handing out turkey legs (side note, Reggie White was the first player ever to receive the award from Madden in 1989). The sights, smells, and sounds of Thanksgiving can easily be recalled. However, the best part of Thanksgiving in my mind has always been the the celebration and acknowledgement of the many blessing to which our family has been gifted. There is no doubt we've been provided with a bounty of blessings.
We at the Post Pattern wish all of our readers a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Week 12 News
While our beloved Packers are struggling through their worst year in recent memory, our picking season has been just the opposite as the race has tightened up and is setting up to be a wild ride the rest of the way.
Casey Buboltz (102-62) continues his lead in the Impeccables and overall division but the race is close. Jack Simmons is one pick behind Casey and leads the Juniors division by just 2 picks over Natalie Vanderhoof. Steve Simmons still leads the Hall of Famers, and is closely followed by Hoofer and wife Kim, both only 1 pick back. In Packer Nation, Sadie Dubs has vaulted to the lead by two over Jaclyn Keller (Coach Keller now is looking up at both ladies after earlier leading). All of these divisions are still up for grabs so we should be in for a great final quarter of the season.

Heard in the Crowd
After showing a bit of life vs the Cowboys (with an assist from our former coach), the Packers returned to their struggling ways and dropped another one to the Titans.
While news of Aaron Rodgers breaking his thumb wasn't surprising, how cool was it that he let "Big B" be the one to break the news? Big B, A Packers blogger who is a high school student recovering from cancer, enjoyed a Make a Wish moment with the Packers organization last week. While at the facility, Big B got to meet Aaron Rodgers and the MVP mentioned his injury to the teenager. Big B then broke the news online, "scooping" all the beat writers and getting credit from many national reporters as they spread the word. Rodgers may take some heat from fans, but that was a cool moment.
Our tailgaters seemed to have found a new favorite spot to hang out for gameday. After some changes to the parking situation, our tailgaters for the Milwaukee games have relocated to the St Marks parking lot and early reviews have been great. Actually having a legitimate restroom in a heated building during a tailgate is a luxury we never knew existed.
For a guy who struggled staying on the field early, Christian Watson has exploded onto the scene the last few weeks. Now leading all rookie WR's in TD's, Watson has finally been able to demonstrate why the Packers moved up to select him in the 2nd round. This year may be slipping away, but we're seeing some signs of hope for the offense in 2023.
If any of our readers want to take on this challenge, the Post Pattern would like to commission a study on why Joe Barry insists on playing soft coverage instead of press man on 3rd down.
Final note for now...our Buboltz Sports Kids write-up this week is a highlight from last months State Cross Country Championships. As the sporting world turns to winter sports we'll turn our attention to basketball, gymnastics, and any other adventures our family pursues!
