Pickers Need Preseason Too
After all the hype surrounding the return of The Post Pattern, Week 1 of the NFL season proved to be a challenge for our pickers. Less than 1/3 of our proud prognosticators produced a record over .500. Young Griffin Keller paced all pickers with a 10-6 record. Packer losses tend to contribute to a slightly "sub-par" week so as the team improved in Week 2 so did our pickers! Leading the way was Silas Dubs with a 12-4 mark followed closely behind by Kate Simmons (who lead all pickers with a 5 pick improvement from W1 to W2) at 11-5.
At the time of this writing with only the MNF game of Week 3 to be completed, Silas Dubs and Steve Simmons are the overall leaders with 28 correct picks leading the Juniors and Hall of Famers divisions respectively. Only one pick behind them due to a strong Week 3 showing, Collin Vanderhoof checks in as the leader of the New Impeccables division with 27 correct picks. In our Packer Nation division, the group is paced by Amy Wilma with 26 correct picks.
