The Vault

This week's trip to the vault takes us back to first week of October, 1978. Checking in with their results we see all of the 5 Impeccables would be leading our picking in 2022. The 3rd edition continued tracking our Guest Pickers (including Paul Schwann, more on that story to come) as well as included several memorable articles.  The featured story,  "Reflections upon a Legend" was written by Hoofer and directed to his son Collin. In it, Hoofer answers the question "Who was Vince Lombardi".  Other stories include commentary on misbehaving Viking quarterbacks, some hilarious commentary on "Things in Pro Football That Have Not Changed", and an Wisconsin High School record that seemingly will never be broken (aka, the story of Lefty "Scooter" Prahl).

This week in an attempt to make the Vault more readable, I physically traced one of the pages print with a pen. I do not plan on doing this often as I feel the font and "feel" is more authentic when left in its natural state.  However this portion was very light and difficult to read. Please rest assured that our historians at The Post Pattern are taking special care to preserve these original artifacts.
